Daily Gleaner, October 14, 1876
The establishment of the new Church of
England boys' high school took place late
in 1876, and started its second term early
in January 1877. The year, 1876, in the date
in the item below is an error for 1877, when
it was actually published. This school was
a great deal more successful than Cox's
school and the headmaster, D S Morrison,
established a fine reputation as an educator.
